The ready-to-use kit consists of 6 bottles (1 each of Gill’s II Hematoxylin and Eosin Y, 2 each of Differentiator and Bluing Reagent) - no filtering, no measuring, no mixing, no diluting, no top
It is all in the balance of hematoxylin and eosin.
The H&E stain kit for high throughput.
The Tissue-Tek Prisma® H&E Stain Kit #2 is designed specifically for the Tissue-Tek Prisma® line of stainers. The H&E Stain Kit #2 has a factory-validated staining protocol to provide you with slide-to-slide reproducibility from the first to last slide. Customize your protocol to achieve your desired staining performance.
The ready-to-use kit consists of 6 bottles (1 each of Gill’s II Hematoxylin and Eosin Y, 2 each of Differentiator and Bluing Reagent) - no filtering, no measuring, no mixing, no diluting, no topping off. This stain kit was designed to maintain the highest quality stain for up to 3,000 slides or 8 days, whatever comes first, further reducing reagent exchanges to save your laboratory time and money. This stain kit passes a rigorous QC-test that assures lot-to-lot stain consistency. Only dyes certified by the Biological Stain Commission are used in the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest quality components.
The patented bottles are custom designed for convenience and the highest safety. They provide ergonomic grip and wide bottle opening to reduce spill risk and enable fast and splash-free transfer to the solution reservoirs. The bottle volume matches the standard Prisma solution reservoirs. The color-coded labels and caps match the colors of the solution configuration displayed on the Prisma Plus touch screen, and help you avoid errors filling solution reservoirs or loading them into the instrument.
The combination of the Tissue-Tek Prisma® H&E Stain Kit #2 and the Tissue-Tek Prisma Plus Automated Slide Stainer creates the world’s fastest throughput H&E Staining solution. Connecting any Tissue-Tek Prisma stainer with the Tissue-Tek Film® or Tissue-Tek® Glas™ g2 coverslipper, creates a true-walkaway system that further increases your laboratory’s productivity. The Tissue-Tek Prisma Plus provides you flexibility to create configurations and protocols that run PAP, IHC counterstaining, dewaxing, dehydrating, rehydrating, and special stains to meet the needs of your laboratory.
